  • Connecting 2 x Monitors to 1 computer

I have a graphics card with 1 x DVI & 1 x VGA output, can I connect a monitor to each output to show a split screen (not the same picture on each monitor).

    Steve.

Thanks Mike, my os system is Vista home.
I guess I would need a DVI convertor to vga?
How have you got 3 fitted?

Yes I had to fit an adapter about 2" long on the DVI socket. in vista right click on desktop click personalize then display settings and you should see the two monitors and tick this is main monitor on the one you want as main and tick extend desktop onto this monitor on both.
Do this now before you start to make sure that there are to drivers on the card and one is not a duplicate of the other, I am on a laptop at moment and it shows 2 as the is the laptop screen and the external monitor socket.

        hope that helps
