Can anyone please help me read a disability on ancestry please?

    John Lidster 1871 RG10 piece 4931 folio 27 page 13

I think it says 'Blasted by accident' but he was a butcher so it doesn't sound right.

    Thankyou
    Jean

I'm having trouble finding him. How is this name splet in the transcription and is the reference correct?
