  • Hugh Wallis's site?

Does anyone know what's happened to the fantastically useful Hugh Wallis's website? When I use my bookmarked link I just get a blank page...
Looking for Bysh, Potter, Littleton, Parke, Franks, Sullivan, Gosden, Carroll, Hurst, Churcher, Covell, Elverson, Giles, Hawkins, Witherden...

        I get an error message:

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

        * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
        moments.
        * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
        connection.
        * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

        Let's hope it's just a temporary glitch.

          It was fine yesterday.

Just one of those cyber problems that happens sometimes, I expect; the same happened with Nationwide Building Society this morning.

I think it's a Rootsweb problem. You get the same message from http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/

I think you're right about it being a Rootsweb problem: I'm having the same difficulty with the index pages for the Abney Park Cemetery and they're also on Rootsweb.

Should I panic now or later...?
Looking for Bysh, Potter, Littleton, Parke, Franks, Sullivan, Gosden, Carroll, Hurst, Churcher, Covell, Elverson, Giles, Hawkins, Witherden...

                      There's a new message now:

                      Site Down
Thank you for visiting us. This portion of RootsWeb is temporarily unavailable. Please check back in a little bit; we're working hard to get it running again.
