Pages slow to load

Hi,
I don't know if it's just me, but recently the FTF pages have become very slow loading, e.g. if I click on an item from my Google gadgets to take me straight to a posting on here. Once I'm in, it doesn't seem so bad. I'm using IE7 and Windows XP with plenty of memory (3Gb I think).

Anyone else found this?

I had problems a couple of nights ago but not now.

Have you tried using a different browser, such as Mozilla Firefox, or perhaps upgrading to IE8?

I have IE8 and had a lot of trouble a few days this week so did quite a few others .

Thanks for the replies. It's a bit better this morning, so maybe the server is just busier in the evenings and can't cope with all the avid readers of this forum!

I've been thinking about trying Firefox too, so might give it a go, when I have time...

yes its fine now Velma , another good browser is googlechrome
