Forgotten password

Are free downloads to recover forgotten passwords safe to use please. My daughter has forgotten her password and the answer to the security question on MSN.

I would be careful using a program to find your passwords...................Msn requires an email address to login then a password they will usually send it to you ,but you must first answer the security question, if you have forgotten that and cant remember then maybe creating another account would save on the paracetamol's :o

You could try downloading SIW and check password option

there,s always a sign saying forgotton passwords you can click on that and they send you an email with the password on or yu can email them tell them you have forgotton both then they will email you ...you can then change the password for security reasons.brenda xxxx

Thank you all for your advice. She did email them but of course she couldn't get in to open it . She has now opened a new account but I assume she will have lost the important emails that she had in the first account. A lesson for her to learn about the importance of backing up.
