    RG10 piece 576 folio 15 page 24

    1871 census, John I Jordan born 1830, can anyone make out where he was born?
    if I have the right one it should be somewhere in Germany, also what does it say after master baker?

                  Have you looked for him in the IGI? They have transcribed loads of German birth/baptism/marriage records.
                  Or the overseas records on FMP or familyrelatives.com?

                    does it say British Subject at the end?

                    also have you found him in other census's to clrify his place of birth?
