I've just switched on my laptop and got a small window with an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle and the word LAG. Does anyone know what this is please?

came across this some years ago on my son's laptop.
It had something to do with the display of his laptop (AVENT), but disappeared after a while and did not reappear.
At that time I contacted AVENT, who said it is nothing to worry about, but the Operating System putting up a warning that something to do with a driver that works the On screen display (OSD) is not, at that time, functioning correctly.
So I would not be too worried.
