If anyone is going to Oxford Record Office, I would be very grateful if they could look at these two marriage records to see if any additional information is given -

    Mark Solomon and Martha Simmons
    26th February 1799 Oxford Headington

Mark Salmoni and Ann Mary Winefride Roper
    9th May 1833 Oxford St Clement's

        John PILLINGER and Martha SALOMI

I have just seen two threads on this forum about the SALMONI family of Oxford.

I am currently doing biographies of some of the people in St Sepulchre's Cemetery, Oxford and have been working on John Pillinger and his wife Martha Salmoni. Here is it (still a draft):
        http://www.stsepulchres.org.uk/burials/pillinger_john.html

I seem to be getting on better with SALMONI than with PILLINGER, so I though that the SALMONI researchers might be interested to see it.

If anyone knows any more about the originas of John PILLINGER, please let me know.

The above link may improve over time. If I feel strong I will look up PILLINGER in all the birth registers in Oxford: thankfully it is an unusual name.
