Elaine you are brilliant could well be as the other Brothers used different names on their death ?

Have you tried contacting any of your fellow researchers on Ancestry where Ezra figures in their tree? e.g. stevecarter131 (last logged in in January).

He does seem to disappear completely after 1881. Did he emigrate? (No obvious trace on FMP)

hi Christine there are a lot of people researching this lot and none of them have Ezra's Death, I found one of the Brothers Job called John on his Death, so dont think they liked to use their Biblical names for some reason.

Well done, Elaine. Definitely worth a shout for that one, I'd say. The notifier name given on the cert might be helpful.

If you search the census for an Ensley Woodcock, nothing shows up - so it's possible he used an aka/nickname on the census.

you are clever Elaine when you see how many have tried to find him and haven't. and yes Christine going to send for it and whats the betting its a Clement who was the informant? one of his stepchildren he is living with in 1881.
