I just got the marriage cert of my aunt and uncle. They married late in life. He was a widower.
On the cert it states that my aunt's father was deceased (which I know was the case). But my uncle's father is named and apparantly not deceased.
As my uncle was 54 when he married my aunt. Do you think it's likely that his father would have still been alive? I didn't know much about my uncle, so have no idea myself.
Also, can someone remind me where I need to look up who may have lived at a certain address at a particular time please.
