William priestley

Hi can anyone help me please,

I have been researching my trees for about a year and have been reasonably successful (15th century) except for my family name.
I cannot get beyond William Priestley from Ovenden, Halifax. He was born in 1809, married Elizabeth Clay, they had a daughter called Susey who was my GG Grandmother.

There are some 2006 postings on GenForum about the surname PRIESTLEY at Ovenden. They might be worth following up?

I found them by googling: "William Priestley" from Ovenden (The inverted commas make Google treat the name as a single term, instead of two separate bits.)
