Can anyone find this family in 1891 for me please?!

Hi again all,

Am having enormous trouble trying to find the following family in 1891.

Edward Henry Burroughs b1857 Bury St Edmunds
Alice Jane Burroughs b1858 St Martins, London
Alice Elizabeth Burroughs b1880 Deptford, Kent
Edward Henry Burroughs b 1882 Lambeth, London

(Sidney Thomas Burroughs b 1894 Chelsea, London)

I've found them on the 1881 and 1901, and their marriage and christenings of the children on the LMA on ancestry. Family info has it that there was a fourth child as well. Edward & Alice sr's ages vary across the censuses and other records by 2-3 yrs.

You're a genius! Edward sr worked in a timber yard on other sources too, so that fit's beautifully as does the age of the third child Maud. Thank you Elaine, I don't know how you do it sometimes, I really don't

The secret is to search using the minimum of information.
All I put in was Alice born 1880 +/- 2 years, with father Edward and mother Alice. No surnames, no places of birth, no counties .... nowt else!
I then glanced through the Bs for a possible mistranscription.

You need a bit more patience if it's the initial letter mistranscribed (S for L for example).
