  • Record Office: Cosford, Semer, Suffolk parish records

I am trying to find out about a birth in/around 1821 of a Charles Mann. He was born in the Cosford Workhouse (1821 according to later censuses), but I am not sure if or where he would have been baptised. If anyone knows this area and what parish it came under, or has access to the local records I would appreciate any look up or information. Thanks
    James

A word of warning about the website that marymog suggests. As I understand it, it is based (wholly, or in part) on submissions from family members, and it does contain errors. Use it as a guide, but be aware that some of the family connections that have been made (by the submitters, not the website) are definitely not correct.
