  • NSW Electoral Roll Query - ancestry

Ancestry have NSW electoral rolls for the following years:

This database currently includes electoral rolls for the following states and years. Those marked by asterisk have been indexed. Others are image-only.

    New South Wales: 1930*, 1931-32, 1933*, 1934-35, 1936-37*, 1943*, 1949*, 1953-54*

Does anyone know how to access the years that are image only?

I'm trying to find my grandfather and his first wife but they are not on the 1933 so that leaves me with 1931-2 or 1934-5 but I can't access those years.

    Hi Kit

    Go to this page: http://search.ancestry.co.uk/search/...bid=1207&enc=1

Then, on the right-hand side of the page, you will see "Browse this collection". From there, you can select state, year, district, sub-district, etc.

    Cheers,
    Richard

        Hi Kat,
I have been using the Electoral Rolls for ages, but never scrolled down to see that I could browse the missing years !! As long as you know the Electorate you want.....

Well Di I didn't know for sure but had a guess and was right first time!!

FTM didn't want to link it to my tree but I've sorted that out.

I wanted it for my uncle really. it's his parents and I thought he might like to see them together. She died when he was quite young.
