How can I uninstall a programme I cant find ?

I tried to install a Wireless USB Adapter something went wrong as I did not realise I had to configure it at the end of installing, now I want to uninstall and reinstall it but I cannot find anything on my pc to uninstall??
Any ideas ???
I did try reinstalling it but that made the problem worse

Go to "Add and Remove Programs" which is in the Control Panel of the Start Menu if using XP.

Thanks Wendy but its Vista and I have looked in my remove programmes and there is nothing in there ??? I did a search too and nothing came up ?? yet it said successfullly installed ????????????????
