Runtime Error '53' File not found md5.dll

I wonder if anyone can help.
I have a Sat. Nav. which (via the makers website)can update speed cameras etc. I did one update after we bought it six months ago and all was fine. I tried to do another about a week ago and got an error message, so was unable to do so. I got in touch with the manufacturer and tried a list of instructions from them but its still the same.
The error message I get is. Runtime Error '53' File not found md5.dll

I also tried the update with my Antivirus (Norton) switched off, but still same message.

Anyone any other ideas before I get in touch with the manufacturer again.

wonder if the drive needs updating ? have you googled the problem ? what make is it ?
