  • Where would it be registered?

If someone got married in July 2005 on board the Sea Princess Cruise liner, where would you find the registration details.

I've looked on Ancestry but nothing comes up.:xmas_frown:

Not sure Wendy, but I thought it would be registered in the Overseas registers (Consulate registers). I believe the marriage license and accompanying documentation is related to the country of registration of the liner, rather than where the ship might be located when the marriage took place.

... but as I said, I'm not sure about this!

Thanks everyone. I have all the details, but I was going to get the certificate. Will see what I can find.

If you Google the ship, you will probably find a geeky ship forum that will give you the country of registration.

I think the Princess liners are Danish, aren't they?
