from what I can see Val all you have paid for is for them to search the GRO index, (which you can already do? with an Ancestry sub?)

the site looks to me to be a finding tool... maybe for those that dont have subs to anywhere..

I might have it totally wrong though, but thats what it looks like to me. :emb:

oh really ??? I thought it was for Essex only records ?? well they did not find anything probably as they have not even emailed me back ???

I think 'some' of the site is going to be essex records, like the parish registers and the like, but for the BMD's it appears they are only using what we already can use.. does that make sense?
