Blimey Elaine, brilliant. Dont spose it gives anything else like occupation? He is a corn dealer back in England, I reckon it must be why he was over there. VERY GRATEFUL. xxx

            Many thanks Herky too.

Ive just had a scout and found a Sarah Bonnick, right age and place of birth with a father in 1851 Chatham, but he is JOSEPH H P Bonnick, a butcher. Surely too much of a coincidence and James H P must be an error.

While you are looking in Canada can I jump on and ask for a Albert Thomas Richards (on the left)to Maude Mary Walden about 1913. Can't find a marriage here for them, so assume it was in Lacombe or Fenn, Alberta.
Cheeky I know but Edmonton library haven't replied!

Odd isn't it. Have them both single in 1911, all her sibling's marriages on Knightroots, his obituary and still no sight of a marriage certificate.

Then is it worth looking in (i.e., trawling - no other word describes the process!) Medway City Ark for the parish register images?

Wendy hasn't been here for a while. I'm not sure how she's left her settings. In case she doesn't spot your post, it might be worth sending a PM (personal message) to alert her to this possible link. If you haven't sussed it out yet, you can send her a message by clicking on her username ... you'll see that "private message" is one of the options in the drop-down menu.
