  • Family Group Form.

    Dear Listers,
Would there be anyone out there aware of a Family Group Sheet that is
excel [perhaps] compatible? That is ready to write and save to the PC.

I have seen a few but they are either download, print of and hand write.
Those that you can use your PC and write to, you are required to print
off. I would prefer not have to hand write to the sheet as my hands have
difficulty holding a pen. Once on the computer I would like to save to
    the computer.
Very best to you and yours, Ray

There are some here, but they are in German!!!

You could possibly change them yourself.

Ray, have sent you an email.

Just had a thought - do you use a family tree program for storing your data - if so you could probably print out a completed family group sheet direct from that if you wanted to. Realise this might not be what you are looking for but thought I'd mention it just in case!

          Hi Ray

I've been using forms from Censustools.com for years and they're brilliant.

You simply download a set of forms (now called International I think) and use these as your mastercopies, taking a copy off when needed.

All information can be inputted from your PC and saved.

The design may have changed, but all of mine are A4 portrait.

All can be formatted - for example you can change birth to baptism on the Family Group Sheet for records before 1837.

They also have a very useful Census Tracker - 1841 to 1911 Census details viewable on two A4 pages.

You may have to register, but this is only for updates and I don't remember ever being contacted or hassled for a donation.

          Regards

          Helen K

            Dear Wendy,
Thank you for that. I'll head over to vista and translate it. Trust the Germans to turn out a good form.
            Regards, Hawk.

                WendyPusey,
Ok I've translated most of the German. I'm happy with that so far but I'd truly appreciate your thoughts on the abbreviations.
You may know the word they are replacing, at least I'm hoping so.
                Very best, Hawk

Sorry Hawk, but my German is rather rusty and self taught, so I can't help.:xmas_frown::xmas_frown:
