another Q on annulment please

where would I be able to send to for annulment papers, would it be the same place in London for the divorce info, or are they held closed for so many years ? thanks

The best place to start is the Divorce Registry, although I am not sure whether you would be allowed to see the papers.

There is a subtle difference between an Annulment and a marriage which is declared Null and void - too subtle for me, lol. Also, there is a Civil Annulment and an Ecclesiastical Annulment.

I know for a fact that you would not be allowed to see the papers for an Ecclesiastical Annulment unless you had an extremely good case for seeing them, because the church is a law unto itself and can do what it likes with its own internal records.
