Help needed to read a WW1 Pension record

I am having some trouble reading the documents for Robert William Iles WW1 Pension docs.

On the 1st page - question 4c asks In whats coprs did you enrole - can't read the reply.

On the second page - I can't make out the promations section and the reason for medical dischange writeen ar the bottom of the page.

On the thrid page - he says the place of service from 1915 to 1917 but again I can't make it out.

Can anyone help me.

I think it says - 4 Bn Som / Lt Infy (M) (4th Battalion Somerset Light Infantry). I don't know what the M stands for

What was the reason for medical dischange writteen in freehand near the bottom of the 2nd page page?

I'm not sure which bit you're referring to. There's a bit that says "Excepted by the Army Council from the provisions of the Military Service Act 1916, under Schedule 1 para 2" (I think those are the numbers). Is that the bit you mean?

Later on (image 395) it says that his disability was Neurasthenia
