Help - how to upload piccie onto the forum

I have a photo of a woman who I think may possibly be my great grandmother. Kylejustin suggested that it might be an idea if I ask for a clean up of the piccie and it might give a better idea of how old the woman is and what era it comes from

I have no idea however of how to upload the picture. I have clicked on insert image and it asks me for a url of the image. Its on my PC - how do I get a url of my pc ?

Hi Chris,

You could insert the picture as an attachment, in which case it will automatically reduce the file size, usually leaving it too small for restoration.
Alternatively, you can host the picture on an external site such as Photobucket, and upload it from there.
