Just a few places I am not sure of - if they are in Somerset or not.

Lympsham?

Where is Abingdon in Burnham - is that far from Puriton, Somerset??

Anyone heard of Coppice End Cottages?

Oh - I forgot - what does (S/M) mean after a bapt ? (probably something easy, I bet lol)

I've come across some more towns now - Eastertown, E Brent (probably abbrev), & Berrow - I really just wanted to know if they were near Somerset??

Hi Gortonboy - and thanks for your advice - its really appreciated. I was only familiar with Mark and Puriton in Somerset. I actually visited Mark in 1998, but these new descendants that I have just discovered, had moved away and I just wondered where the towns were. Most of the them were mentioned in your first post.

Hi Judy

I live in the UK but still have problems with places outside my area.
To get over that I have downloaded Google Earth , it is a free download and you can find almost anywhere in the world. Some places have Street view so you can see photos of the locations.

I personally think Google Earth is invaluable for this hobby.
