Would you be able to rescan ?

It's a very small file size, which means that when enlarged for restoration, the detail is lost because of the pixellation.

So, if you can scan at 300 dpi and 100% scale, that would be useful and when uploading to photobucket you need to ensure that the photobucket file size option is set to the maximum ~ that is 1MB for the free account.

Oh darn ~ had a feeling you might say that :(

If you have your photobucket file size option set at 1MB then that's as much as you can do .... UNLESS you can persuade the person who has the originals to rescan

Done my best with it for now Leah but as Rachel says, it does need rescanning to get the best from it.

Yes that's better ~ at a rough guess, looking at her bodice, I'd say 1890s but you really need Just 'Barbara' or 'don.t'

                                Hi,

I have a photo, which I would like dating, but I think some people on the photo might still be alive. Is is possible I could send the photo to somebody who could date it for me ?

                                Thanks,

                                Wallaby
                                We should never forget them,
Because we would not be here today, but for them.
We should be proud, reflect, respect and always remember them.
                                Because we all have them…
                                Them… were our Ancestors.

Here's a green outfit and blue underskirt
the colours can be changed very easily so do say if fancy something else.

Those letters on the rug are curious :smilee:

Here's the rug reversed ..... so the letters are more legible :(
