  • Looking for Thomas Farrell in the 1871 census

    I am looking for Thomas Farrell aged 1 or 2 in the 1871 census. He was born in Pimlico, London.

    His parents are shown here in 1871;

    - Ancestry.co.uk

    here he is in 1881

    Enable Cookies - Ancestry.co.uk

    I have checked the grandparents and he is defo not with the mothers side;

    - Ancestry.co.uk

    Not been able to confirm not with grandparent on father side as the last record I have for them is in 1851

    - Ancestry.co.uk

    Can anyone see Thomas in 1871?

    Thanks for looking.

    I cant find him yet but this looks like a likely death for Mary Farrell

    Deaths Dec 1854
    Mary Farrell Blandford 5a 187

    So he's probably somewhere else.

      I'm wondering if they've just got his age wrong and he wasn't born at the time of the 1871 census.

        Thanks for looking.

        I have the birth certificate which says he was born in November 1869 in Pimlico London. - Parents Thomas & Alice. Furher children were born in London in the early part of the 1870's.
