Could it be printer, with Sarah being printer´s wife.
I think the one above is porter, with an open 'p' and a very short stubby 't'.

thats the right family then Elaine thanks ,just wondered if it was as it says born in Paris doesn't it ???? I always thought he was born in Middlesex ??lol
