cemetery records where are they now??

Just wondered if anyone knows where I could find the burial records of the Rusholme road Cemetery in Manchester.I know it was cleared in 1933 and now has a playground on it !!I assume the records must be filed somewhere but where?

Generally they are held by either Town/District/City etc Councils or they may have been deposited at the Records Office if the cemetery has closed.

Thankyou Jay and Elaine,I'll look into that.Looks like I need to arrange a visit to the microfilm unit,I had hoped they might have been on line .
