  • Can You Date These Photos ?

    Hi,

Would anybody reading this message be able to pin point the date of these two photographs ?

I'm not sure if the woman standing with the children is the same person (but older) in the 2nd photo & if somebody could identify the age of these photos this might help. The two women look alike but one could be the other's mother or older sister.

    Thanks you

    Wallaby

    We should never forget them,
Because we would not be here today, but for them.
We should be proud, reflect, respect and always remember them.
    Because we all have them…
    Them… were our Ancestors.

Hi Wallaby, I would put the first photo about 1897, that's because of the puffs at the top of the ladies sleeve. I think looking at the ladies hair and blouse in the 2nd photo that she probably dates from around the 1st world war.....
