  • 1911 census - free family search

I am not sure if this search method has been posted here already, but
here is a way to identify all the family members living at the same
address in the 1911 census - without purchasing the credits.

This should work on most families apart from the Smith, Jones, etc.
    variety.

Go to Welcome to the official 1911 Census website

    1. At the Search box enter the known family member's forename (either
one if two), surname, Include the year of birth and Place of residence
if known, to reduce the results. Press Search, and the display should
    return 'x results found'.

Note the details displayed, one of which should be the known family
    member, and press 'Search again'.

    2. Now enter only the family surname, and the location of the known
member, as given in 1 above. Press 'Search again'.

A list of all the 'possible' family names will now be displayed, which
should include the name displayed in 1 above. Note all these names,
    ages, etc. Press 'Search again'.

    3. Enter the known family member's details from 1 above in the top of
the Search box. Then enter one of the 'possible' family members name &
surname in the additional box at the bottom titled 'Other members of
    the household'. Press 'Search again'.

If your match is successful, a message is displayed '1 result found'.

Repeat 3 and work your way through all the other possible names. You
should end up identifying all the family members living at the same
address. This is how they will be shown if you purchase the image of
the census page for 30 credits.

Those names not connected to the name in 1 should be checked for
connection to each other. They may be other family members living at a
    nearby address
