Old photos to view

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before, but I've just come across a website with lots of old photos of towns and villages, plus peoples memories, maps etc.Old photos, maps, local books, prints and gifts - Francis Frith

I found lots of old photos of Oxford, where my Grandmother came from, including the church where she was married, from 1890.

You can post on their message boards for individual towns/villages. I recently contacted somebody in Australia via that site who is researching the same name as me in a small Wiltshire village and she responded the next day.
