query when ordering wills

I ordered acouple of wills recently and received one will but no word on other will , i was not certain if the two people had a will or not
do they tell you when they have searched and can not find a will ?
Just wondering as the two people in question were mother and son , they sent the sons will , but no word on mothers will

I was told when one couldn't be located, but I see you are in Australia - where are you requesting your wills from? There is a big postal strike in England - maybe a letter has been held up.

I ordered them from the probate registry York in early sept
