    Hello,

    I am looking for the Godfrey family in the 1901 census records - without luck!

    Can anyone see them?

    Ive found Jane age 50 POB Wedmore, widow/occ nurse with Bessie age 13 POB Brent on GR, try just looking for Jane on Ancestry.

          this may be Georges death which would explain why the family arent together maybe

              I have problems with Ancestry links like that, because they get chopped short when I try to copy-paste. I use Camino to log in here, but Firefox to log into Ancestry, so I just get diverted to the "wouldn't you like to join" page if I try to use the link within Camino.

              EDIT: I've accidentally discovered a way around the problem of the abbreviating URLs! All I (or anyone else with the same problem) have to do is to click on the Quote button, as if I had intended to post a reply. The URL appears in full, then.

                    so if you were on ancestry, then the page would begin with http//www.ancestry.... you copy this by right clicking with mouse and pasting in the thread...
