Anybody live near Brixworth, Northampton

I am wondering if anybody lives in or close to Brixworth in Northampton. I was looking for the electoral registers for Brixworth for 1961/1962. I am looking for the address of an Ernest Albert Dray if anybody can look him up.

I can't help with the search but I will say finding an address is quite tricky if you don't have the name of the road. Not sure how large Brixworth is, possibly Northampton library would have this info and look it up, but its a slog if Brixworth is a large place, as electoral rolls are arranged by wards and then streets. There isn't a name index.

thanks Nell, its a few years since ive used these, but it only dawned on me once you pointed it out, when i've used them before i have known the district that they lived in, which narrowed the search down quite considerably, i shall have to think of another plan of attack.

Brixworth is a village, rather than a town, and although it has grown a lot in recent times, I seem to recall it as fairly compact in the late 1960's.

I don't think asking for a look up in the Northampton central library would be too lengthy a job.
Worth an e-mail, I would think.
