    "name" databases on this site

People turn up in the most unexpected places :conf:

Apparently sheepfarmers were needed in the Falklands c 1900, and then "poached" to Southern Patagonia.

I've just found one of my Norfolk (UK) families in one of the databases on this site - explains why I couldn't find some of the children on FreeBMD.
(1901 census said eldest child was born in the Falkland Isles and I'm afraid I was a bit sceptical. Until I found a reference to another child named Malvina!)

Thank you. That's an interesting site. I haven't found any of mine yet, but not somewhere I would have thought of looking. I'll have to have a closer look at it.
