i was looking at some marriages from the lma collection on ancestry, and came across the marriage of henry morton to emma stilington in 1846, lambeth.
the witnesses were thomas and martha hastings. both signed. henry is a possible uncle, b.1824 in the strand, and i thought if i solved the witnesses relation, i might be able to get one step further with him being a solid relation.
thomas hastings married martha morton on 2 sep 1838, at st anne soho, westminster. it is the same area my morton and henry's families are from.
could someone please have a look for thomas and martha in the census?
