  • Missing details for James

I have a name of James Bazeley for the father of James Marshall, b1792 All Saints Fulham, mother Rebecca Marshall.

I would like to try and find anything more about James Bazeley, so I would appreciate a census lookup, 41, maybe 51. James could have been bc 1775 ish so may be on the 41, if I am lucky!!

Sorry that's all I have on him, apart from a possible marriage off the IGI for 1799.

I understand if this is too difficult, but thought I would ask before I draw a line under him. I know there are far better 'thinkers' out there that may have an idea or a solution, in this situation.

    Thanks very much.

Are you sure the father Was Bazley/Bazely and that it wasn't just his middle name? And how are you going to know if you've found the right chap? Does the baptism give his occupation?

          Thanks very much.

I did think that the Bazeley was a middle name and he was also Marshall, but couldn't find anything to substantiate this.

This was found for me on my post of 14/10 from the Fulham bapts, and it just said:

James Marshall born 16/8/1792 baptised 23/8/1795 son of James Bazeley & Rebecca Marshall.

So according to Pallots James snr was a Marshall?

So now my search changes shape!

Are there any James and Rebecca Marshalls on the early census?

Can't find a marriage for them.
