    Hi, could someone help me with reading a few records.

    1st atatchment - what is the address in St. James, Bristol.

    Also in this 1861 census record where were thomas holbook born - its something + Hounslow, London.

    What sort of maker was Jane Iles (jr) in this 1851 census record

    - Ancestry.co.uk

    What is charles iles address inthe 1841 census record

    - Ancestry.co.uk

    What sort of clerk was Charles Nurse in the 61 census record

    - Ancestry.co.uk

    1861 looks like "Hounslow (not certain)" and then I cant read the next word. Nr London

                Agree with Linda. I guess Thomas spelt the place of his birth how he said it in his north London accent and then the Bristol enumerator made a guess about where it actually was.

                  I think Charles Nurse was a clerk in a Coopering business. (Presumably for a company that made barrels.)
                  Looking for Bysh, Potter, Littleton, Parke, Franks, Sullivan, Gosden, Carroll, Hurst, Churcher, Covell, Elverson, Giles, Hawkins, Witherden...
