Ancestry query

At the moment I only have basic Ancestry, courtesy of the tesco FTM 2009 offer. However my six months expires in December. I am planning on taking out a full Ancestry, as I am hoping to trace family in the States, and possibly Canada and Australia. What I was wondering is how extensive are the parish records that Ancestry holds, and what kind of information can you get from them.

Even with a basic subscription you can see what information is held by Ancestry. What you can't do is dig into the detail. So you could do a general search for Joe Bloggs born 1800 Canada and see what results it produces.
