I am looking for the Joseph & Sarah Dummett in the 51+ census records.
Here they are in 1841 aged 40
- Ancestry.co.uk

Were they still alive?
There's an Edwin in Axbridge Union Workhouse, Compton Bishop, there's also a Betsy aged 18 with him.
- Ancestry.co.uk
There's also an Edna ? aged 22 in the workhouse too.

was dad called Joseph?
JOSEPH DUMMETT
Marriages:
Spouse: SARAH COUNSELL
Marriage: 25 APR 1820 Mark, Somerset, England
This is totally freefall guessing- I dont have census access! ( its based on the christening of a Betsey in Mark)

Jess the ones I found were born in Mark so that's a good marriage.
