  • What is the surname in this record

    I thought the surname in this record was HARE but it's not fitting with any census searches.

    I can see the H in horfield is different - so what is the surname.

    Does look like Hare.
    What are the full details -names/date/parish etc.

      It certainly looks like Hare to me, but others may see something different.

          1841 birth of Ellen Elizabeth Hare - Father James Hare - Mother Mary Hare (Lewis) - Ashley in City of Bristol - Clifton area.

          I was hoping to find the 51 & 61 census records for her - I have her marriage in 1864.
