When i try to access my emails now, I get a popup box asking me to verify my account, but it doesn't accept any of my user names or my password. It didn't ask me for this in the past either.

    Help!! please!!!

I have this happen from time to time when my service provider has problems.
If it's only just started happening today I would guess it's just a server problem with your ISP and will hopefully resolve itself soon.

This is still happening - since yesterday. Please help someone? How can I change the password if I don't know what it is? Why is it asking me for one when it never used to?

Have you tried logging in online via Virgin's webmail

                      Connecting you - Virgin Media

If you cant login via webmail, I would say, there is either still a problem
Virgin's end, or there is a problem with your specific email account, that
                      Virgin need to look into.

Just to let you know its sorted

I didn't put in the right username - its my name DOH! as opposed to my email addy!!!

And found the password on a scrap of paper which I am now going to stick into a book so it won't get lost!

After all that, my emails are all the usual drivel about special offers and so on, so I haven't missed anything important.

                        Thanks for your suggestions everyone.

Might be a good idea to put another scrap of paper by the computer and write on it where you've put the book. :p
