  • fresh eyes..please..lost Lucy Taylor

    evening all..

I seem to be having a few problems finding this lady.... this is what I have already.

Lucy Taylor (nee Gauden) b. 1827 she is a bit economical with this dob too. Sutton, Warwickshire.

I have her on the 1901 - she is a widow.

    - Ancestry.co.uk

    on the 1871

    - Ancestry.co.uk

    and the 1861

    - Ancestry.co.uk

she is the second wife of Richard,

I cannot find Lucy Gauden in any census prior to her marriage in 1856 to Richard Taylor.

any help would be great thanks :smilee:

There is a Lucy Gorton on 1841 aged 15 with parents Benjamin and Sarah in Foleshill Warwickshire.

That is all I have found at the moment

Could be Sutton Coldfield just on northern outskirts of Birmingham -but separate until fairly recently.

I have been looking and trying to think of possible Taylor mistranscriptions but coming up with very little..

can anyone else suggest possible manglings?

                    I tried Tay** and Tai**

Do you have anything for Richard Taylor other than a name? I am looking for Taylors from Crowland Lincolnshire to Werrington Northampton.
