  • LMA help please

    Hello all

I was just wondering if anybody can help me find a marriage between Edward Harriott and Christiana Pruden?

They would have been married during the 1790's and they had their first child in Edmonton Middlesex.

    Any help would be fantastic.

Danny - I've had a quick look and I have found a marriage between an Edward Harriott and a Christian Fraser, 10 May 1795 at St. Botolph's, Bishopgate. The only other one is in 1771 to an Elizabeth Burnell.

Sorry I can't be of any more help

Thankyou you both Champagnegal and Wendy:smilee:

That does make sense as Christiane's mother was named Margaret Fraser.

            Thankyou so much Wendy:smilee:

            That would be the parents.
Do you think that her mothers name was Fraser or do you think that perhaps that was her first husbands name (Mr Fraser)?

              HI Danny

Not sure on that one but here the marriage info which shows the married on the 27th day of may 1777 both still shown as widows

Peter Pruden signed his name and Margaret left her mark - so to speak

If you remind me of your email I could send you both copes if you'd like to see them for yourself.

                  Hi Danny

                  Mail sent.

Have since seen that there is a christening record on IGI site for a Christian Fraser 1770 St Botolph noting parents as William and Margaret.

pity it doesn't state if the child be male or female though

                    Hiya Wendy

                    Thanks for the images:smilee:

Now that I know she married under Fraser It opens up other avenues for me to search.

                    Once again thankyou very much:smilee:

                        Thankyou Di:smilee:

That s certainly something I will look into as Im at a loss with her first marriage.
We were hoping that it would be Margaret Smith but Im unsure now If that is just wishful thinking.
