I have a marriage which is where I get stuck. I have had the Pallotts entry for some time.
I can see on the new records on Ancestry that the marriage is there but I cannot view the image.
I am a past master at downloading new software but never managing to install it and as I am on the PC at work I need my son in law to come & sort me out - again!:Big Grin:
There has been a query for me over who was the mother of my GG x GF as his father married SARAH ANN GORRIE on 14 January 1828, three years after his birth.
I have found that they had the Banns read at another Church in 1924 - luckily this entry fell on the part of the Ancestry image I could see!
Please would someone look at the marriage entry to see their status at the wedding - I am hoping to see they were both unmarried -I feel I can then claim Sarah Ann as mine!
