  • occupations in Australia

I have a list of residents in Balkatta,Freemantle.W.A in 1925 on the 2 pages are listed the occupations of the residents.
There are the obvious, Clerk,Grocer,Priest,Salesman, Marine Engineer, along with the more unusual to me at least '

    Plate Polisher
Retired Grazier = Pastures and raises cattle so a Farmer
    Mount Cutter
Striker' of metal ? =Blacksmiths assistant
    Brass Finisher

I can imagine what we would call a Striker , British Leyland had a lot of them ,lol

So what are the others likely to be .?
