Cheshire place location HELP needed

Does anyone know where COTTON in Cheshire is to be located please, I have tried 'googling' without success.

There is Cotton Abbotts and Cotton Edmunds, about 5 miles east of Chester.

Had a look in my old map book, which I keep as it lists places not found on modern maps, and can't locate such a place in Cheshire or near enough for boundary changes.
