Installing BIVRI

I'm having problems being able to view the discs.
I have installed the viewer 4.0 fine and the disc 1 resource file fine.....however, it is not letting me read the discs. Keeps asking me to insert a disc then press OK, which I do but nothing else happens except the message keeps coming back.

Could it be because I had it previously installed on my old laptop (now defunct) could it be having a conflict with Vista, or am I trying to open it in the wrong program? I also keep getting prompted to read the disc via windows etc, etc.......which doesn't work anyway.

Anyone know whats happening please?

Have you tried running as administrator or in XP compatibility mode.

No I haven't Elaine, thankyou, I will try that.....had an idea thats what it could be drat!
