  • Ordering from Parish Chest

I want to order a microfiche and when I try to order it asks for
membership number. Can you not order if you are Jo public ?

I haven't tried to order from there.

Is it that you have to register with the site?
Or is the membership number optional, in case you're eligible for a FHS member's discount?

Parish Chest is an online store which carries approximately 35,000 family history products from a wide range of suppliers.

As far as I am aware there are no restrictions on anyone purchasing anything from Parish Chest
The only time a membership number should be asked for is if a person is trying to renew their membership of a FHS.

I just put a 0 where it asked for a membership number. The order
went through, fingers crossed I receive it
