  • Fresh eyes please..

    I seem to have lost

Joseph Holmes, b. 1836 Staunton, Leicestershire,

I have him and his family on all census Except 1891

his wife Rebecca and their children I cant find.

this is the 1881 sighting of him..

    any help greatly appreciated

I should add I think he dies in 1897 as I have found a burial for a Joseph in the right area.

Just checked on FreeBMD just for that forename and its more common than I thought

                  Many thanks Ayse and Jackie..

it would seem then the burials I have found are indeed for Joseph & Rebecca then, something else to check when I next goto Leics RO.

and Siah is a name I haven't come across before, Isiah yes, but not Siah. I guess you live and learn

Sometimes Siah was used for Josiah when dad had same name in my family!
